whirlwind revelations...

MJ is dead. And the world wept. A few girsl were tearing up in the canteen as the news came on. I wasnt surprised, mom had sms-ed me first thing in the morning.

Come to think of it, MJ was the first singer whom i knew more than the songs he sang. Sure, i had listened to other songs, but i never knew, nor cared, abt who sang them. MJ was different. Larger than life, and full of it. Silky smooth moonwalking, tight pants, white socks with tapdancing shoes and jewelled belts never looked so... ... trendy.

I remember that his music videos were trully grand - they were TRUE music videos, not like the kind u see today - 3-4min of singing in black and white and closeups and then *poof* done! MJ's vids were 10-15 min long with REAL storyline dialogue interwoven with music and hip dancing.

Even when he was getting older, it didnt stop him. U saw him on the set of "You Rock My World".

I cant believe that he's gone. RIP MJ, u still rock.

In other news, the restringing of racquets has brought a great upheaval in the tennis group. Suddenly, everyone's blaming their bad shots on strings la, not used to the racquet la, lousy overgrip la... wateva.

Federer vs Soderling in a second, and im already nervous.

Work sux, btw.

I lost 2 saturdays in row to last min "emergency" meetings and all. Fuckers cant just get it done QUICKLY, gotta wait til Saturday, bcos that's when ppl are "more focused" which is a huge pile of BS.

song of the day is "You Rock My World" by King MJ.
